Traditional Archery

The mention of these two words may bring many thoughts to mind. If you share the romance and ideals of traditional archery, the Pennsylvania Longbow Association is for you.

The Pennsylvania Longbow Association is a group of archers that enjoy shooting Longbows, Recurves, or Self bows and sharing the experience with others. People of all ages are welcome to join the ranks.

Throughout the year, the Pennsylvania Longbow Association Inc. co-sponsors several archery shoots, starting in early spring and going through the summer. Our largest and most popular shoot is our June shoot, which involves many good vendors, our largest membership meeting of the year, and a fun weekend for the whole family.

If you want to help promote traditional archery, join the Pennsylvania Longbow Association.

Please notice a new addition to the links in the left bar. Joshua Barber was a member of the PLA who was killed in a car accident. His family has set up a Web site and scholarship fund dedicated to his life.

Just a note- our Winter Meeting will be held at Cabela's in Hamburg, PA on January 11th, 2009 at 9:30 am. Also, the Winter Rendezvous and Pheasant Hunt will be held at Clover Leaf Archery Club in Milford Square, PA on February 21st and 22nd, 2009.
