George Pytash with his 5 x 6, 700-725 pound elk that he took on a hunt in Pecos, New Mexico from September 9-13, 2006. George killed the elk within the first 45 minutes of his hunt using his Bob Lee Recurve.
Pat Carroll was the winner of West Caln the Long Distance Bear Shoot - placed at 77 yards. Pat was the only one to hit the balloon.
The water jug shoot off between Dennis Matthews (left) and Chris Hurt (center) for the pot ended with Dennis being the final winner. Dennis gave Chris half of the money and donated the rest back to the PLA as Leon Steward (right) looks on.
Activities for the younger crowd include a kids only shoot. There are targets just for them, and prizes for everyone who hits a balloon.
